Just a couple of days back, we had reported that Excel Entertainment's forthcoming film Bangistan that features Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat in lead roles was banned in Pakistan. Now we hear that the film which was slated to hit screens later this month on July 31, has been postponed. In fact the film will now release on August 7.
Commenting on the delay in releasing the film, producer Ritesh Sidhwani stated that since the current releases Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Bahubali that hit screens two and three weeks back continue to rule the box office, releasing Bangistan at a later date would be more beneficial for the film. Simultaneously, Riteish Deshmukh also confirmed the same on twitter saying, "Bangistan Now Releases On 7th August".
Directed by Karan Anshuman, Bangistan also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Chandan Roy Sanyal. The film is about two suicide bombers, Hafeez Bin Ali/ Ishwarchand Sharma (Riteish) and Allah Rakha Khan/ Praveen Chaturvedi (Pulkit), who are brainwashed into executing a suicide mission, however the two soon realize the futility of the mission and try to avert it.

The remake of the Tamil hit Velaiyilla Pattathari aka VIP is one of them. And for the record, the film will not have Dhanush as the hero, but will have a different face altogether. Bollywood is synonymous with controversies and the industry has had several in the last 10 years. From leaked photos and nasty break ups, to bar fights and films getting shelved, our actors made headlines for many reasons. Here are a few famous scandals that you would not have forgotten.
Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan
Salman and Shah Rukh's friendship took a hit after the two, reportedly, had a heated argument at Katrina Kaif’s birthday bash. Then, at an Iftar party hosted by Baba Siddiqui, they decided to let bygone be bygones. Today, they are happily promoting each other’s films on social media.
Preity Zinta-Ness WadiaPreity and Ness were a much-in-love couple until the former filed a molestation complaint against her businessman beau. She later took to social media to explain her stance on the issue.
Shiney AhujaShiney's maid accused him of rape. He apparently stated that he had consensual sex with her and then allegedly retracted it. Apparently, the maid withdrew her statement too. The case appeal is still pending in the Bombay High Court.
Ajay Devgn-Aditya ChopraThe box-office clash of Ajay's Son Of Sardaar (2012) and Jab Tak Hain Jaan (2012), produced by Aditya's banner, was a much-awaited one. Then, Ajay filed a complaint against the production house, accusing it of using its “dominant” position in the market, and not giving his film enough single screens.
Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina KaifThey have started to open up about their alleged relationship now, but Ranbir and Katrina were known to be secretive. So when pictures of their “private” holiday in Spain made it to a magazine cover, the duo was furious. Katrina even released a statement to the media stating her displeasure.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Madhur BhandarkarMadhur's ambitious project, Heroine (2012), was supposed to star Aishwarya, and she even shot for 10 days. However, it was revealed that she was pregnant, and an upset Madhur announced that he had shelved the project. Madhur made his displeasure clear, which also left the Bachchan’s furious over the insensitivity shown towards their daughter-in-law.
Shah Rukh Khan-Shirish KunderAt a party, Shah Rukh allegedly slapped Shirish. Reportedly, the director made an inappropriate statement about his film. This incident led to a fallout between SRK and his long-time friend, Farah Khan (Shirish’s wife). The trio eventually sorted things out.
Irrfan Khan-Vashu BhagnaniVashu accused Irrfan of being unprofessional after he allegedly asked the producer to delay the schedule of a film they were both working on, at the eleventh hour. Irrfan reacted sharply; strongly denying the accusation.
Sonam Kapoor-Abhay DeolAfter Aisha (2010) released, Abhay openly spoke about his displeasure towards the amount of money spent on Sonam’s wardrobe. Sonam retorted, and the war of words followed that later also involved her father, Anil Kapoor.

Pakistani actress Armeena Khan, who appeared in a latest Pakistani movie ‘Bin Roye’ has expressed her dissatisfaction towards Bollywood film industry.
There’s an old show business adage, attributed to the early Hollywood comic W.C. Fields, that says “never work with children or animals.” What Fields meant is that kids and animals are scene stealers and completely unpredictable.
Actor Salman Khan and his fellow producers cheerfully and thoroughly ignored this advice when they made the hit Bollywood melodrama Bajrangi Bhaijaan. At various points in the film Khan shares the screen with sheep, camels, goats, chickens (cooked ones, anyway), and one very human little girl.
And it’s a good thing, too. The girl in question, 7 year-old actress Harshaali Malhotra, nicely holds her own acting in numerous scenes opposite India’s superstar Khan, and manages to steal quite a few scenes while she’s at it.

"I never thought in a million years that this [the video] would get this much attention," Mr Gregoire told the BBC.
Ms Malhotra said she was "still trying to believe this beautiful act of love was done for me".

Considering the many issues that farmers are dealing with today, news is that Salman Khan has wishes to donate the profits that he will earn through Bajrangi Bhaijaan to them. Reportedly, BJP Leader Shaina NC who is thrilled with this move announced about this noble deed and also added that Rockline Venkatesh, who co-produced the film along with Salman, may also contribute his share for the donations. The move is being considered to relieve farmers who are in debt and are committing suicide in order to save themselves from the financial crisis. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the same from Salman Khan yet.
Produced by Salman Khan in association with Eros International, Bajrangi Bhaijaan also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Harshaali Malhotra among others and released on July 17 on the occasion of Eid.

Ever since the Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan hit the silver screen, the audiences have been raving about Salman 'Bhaijaan' Khan, Kareena Kapoor and the angelic child Harshaali Malhotra, in addition to the film's unique script. However, like every Bollywood film, this film's story too had quite a few morals! Bollywood Hungama lists down the things we learnt from Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
1) A true Bajrangbali bhakt (devotee) can see Lord Hanuman in every monkey.
2) Bajrangbali helps his bhakts … even in Pakistan!
3) A true blue Shaheed Afridi fan can actually name her child as Shahid (if it's a boy) and Shaheeda (if it's a girl).
4) In a Bollywood film, a 'behenji' can actually turn out to be your future wife!
5) A girl who is fair and eats non-veg will be a 'Kshatriya'
6) And there are around 28 types of chicken dishes!
7) One can enter Pakistan by sneaking inside the tunnel and under 'taar' (wires) from the border
8) In Pakistan, vegetarian food means meat with vegetables
9) If none of the TV channels buy your news story, you can always upload it on 'Youtube' and create a sensation.
10) Love can make even a mute girl speak and call her out her 'mama' to say her final goodbye

According to a Pinkvilla report, a close friend of the star spoke on Shahid's behalf. "We were really surprised to read one of his very prominent former girlfriends talking about being invited to his wedding. Has she forgotten how she behaved with him? She went on an outdoor shooting with one of her co-stars, had what she thought was a secret fling with her co-star and came back to Mumbai to Shahid as if everything was normal. Shahid got to know about the 'secret fling' and refused to take her back. And now she wants to be invited to the wedding? What a cruel joke!"
Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid's ex had revealed to the media that Shahid had told her about his wedding at an event where she'd met him.

The 'Heroine' actor had also added that if invited to her ex-boyfriend's wedding, she'd make it a point to attend the same.

Shah Rukh, Kajol re-kindle romance

Twitter/Shah Rukh Khan
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan shared a picture of him with his director friend Rohit Shetty and Kajol from the sets of their upcoming film 'Dilwale'.
The film which went on-floors in April with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, is currently being shot in Bulgaria.
The evergreen pair of SRK and Kajol has joined now and will begin shooting.
Twitter is abuzz with pictures of this hit on-screen couple.

Twitter/Kajol
Later, Kajol also tweeted a picture with Shah Rukh Khan and wrote, "Back in front of the camera with an old friend after a very long time. You might know him. @iamsrk."

Salman Khan says no to 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' director?
After the box-office success of Aanand L Rai's 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns', 'Ranjhannaa' and 'Tanu Weds Manu', there are very few actors or actresses, who would have had the guts to show the director the door. But if the rumour mills are to be believed, Salman Khan has actually said a clear no to him.
(AFP)
So, what issue did Salman have with the script that Aanand had penned especially for him?
Again, according to certain sections of the Indian media, the macho actor refused as he was offered the role of an unlikely hero in the form of a dwarf. Salman was clearly not interested.

(Sanskriti Media and Entertainment)
Going by Aanand's previous films, this film would also have hints of an offbeat story with loads of emotions thrown in.
The beefy actor has probably become selective about the films that he will be working in ever since his conviction in the hit-and-run case.

n July this year, Pakistan’s international superstar Ali Zafar completed five years in Bollywood. Ali debuted in the Hindi film industry with the critically acclaimed Tere Bin Laden (TBL) in 2010.
The 35-year-old versatile star marked this milestone in his journey with a tweet to his fans on July 17 where he shared the poster of his debut Hindi film and wrote: “5 years exactly today since my journey in B town started with the TBL, a time when No 1 believed a Pakistani could make it (sic).”
In a subsequent tweet, Ali went on to thank all those who believed in him and loved him and his work and said that this was the beginning only: “A big thank to all those who believed in me, liked/loved me. This is just the beginning! Aagay Aagay Dekho Hota Hai Kya)”.
After the critical acclaim and somewhat commercial success Ali and his film Tere Bin Laden garnered, the man donning many hats went on to star in more Bollywood films such as London, Paris, New York (2012), Chashme Baddoor (2013) and Total Siyapaa (2014).

"India is more than this. Where is the philosophy, history, the dreams and the richness of India and its people?
"I hope Bollywood can start to encompass these facets, and that is the Bollywood I would want to be part of," she added.
The
release of "Bin Roye" in India sparked a row as Bollywood distributor
B4U Films had to blackout the film in Maharashtra following demands from
a bodh affiliated to the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.
But the movie was released elsewhere in India on Friday.

We have often seen Salman Khan flaunting his well-toned body and kicking
some bad men in his films but the actor is equally famous for his
generous nature. With Bajrangi Bhaijaan already making records, Salman Khan has decided to use the profits earned through the film for the benefit of common man.Considering the many issues that farmers are dealing with today, news is that Salman Khan has wishes to donate the profits that he will earn through Bajrangi Bhaijaan to them.

Shahid was also in a realtionship with co-star Priyanka Chopra.

Now, the celeb bandwagon is harnessing the power of Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor to keep the interest going.
Reports have emerged that Salman and Kareena are sharing an extremely close chemistry.

The film which went on-floors in April with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, is currently being shot in Bulgaria.
The evergreen pair of SRK and Kajol has joined now and will begin shooting.
Twitter is abuzz with pictures of this hit on-screen couple.

What's SRK doing with Kareena, Karisma, Alia!?

A new Pakistani film could finally revive the country’s long-dormant industry.
Bin Roye—a romantic drama adapted from the Pakistani novel, Bin Roye Aansoo—is one of the country’s first films to release worldwide on the same day.
In addition, it is one of the country’s most
expensive films—made on a budget of 35 million Pakistani rupees
($345,541). It also received a West End premiere
on July 19, something unheard of in a movie industry that was until
recently in deep water. West End is London’s glamorous centre for red
carpet movie premieres, generally packed with Hollywood stars.
Directed by Shahzad Kashmiri and Momina Duraid,
the film is about a naive young girl—portrayed by Pakistani TV and film
actress Mahira Khan—who falls in love with her cousin, who in turn
marries her long-lost cousin._________________________________________________________________________________

But a source close to the development informed that the actor was asked to leave the film as he was too interfering and big-headed for a debutant in Bollywood.
Kushal, who shot to fame after he appeared in the reality show 'Bigg Boss 7', was also known for his off and on affair with Gauahar Khan. The couple also appeared together on 'Khatron ke Khiladi'.
An insider reveals that when he was asked to leave the project, his team started passing the information that he has walked out of the film because it doesn't set a good example if the news comes out that he was asked to leave his debut film because he was being too difficult to handle.
“The news that Kushal has walked out of his debut film came from his side because the real reason was that he was being too high handed and was interfering too much with the script, but if this would have come out then it wouldn't have been nice for the actor,” said a source.
